Hurricanes Marching Arts Clinic

The Connecticut Hurricanes are pleased to announce a marching arts clinic for band students of all skill levels age 12 and up. Attendees get to learn from top instructors in the marching arts activity, learn skills that can help students become stronger performers in their band and color guard program, along with getting a taste of the drum corps experience.

Who: Students ages 12+

When: Saturday August 26, registration 12pm, clinic 1pm-8pm

THE CLINIC WILL HELP YOU BUILD YOUR SKILLS IN:
– Color Guard: Rifle & Flag
– Brass: Trumpet, Mellophone, Baritone, Trombone, and Tuba
– Woodwinds: Flute, Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax
– Percussion: Snare, Tenor, Bass Drum, Mallet Percussion, Drum Set

Clinic 1:00-5:00
Dinner 5:00-6:00
Performance 7:00

All clinic attendees will be dismissed after the performance with a wristband for free admission to Fanfare.

Brass – bring mouthpiece and instrument if possible; indicate on form if one is needed

Woodwinds – Bring Instrument

Percussion – bring sticks, and pad if possible

Color Guard – bring your available equipment; indicate on form if needed
