∙Valley Thunder Drum and Bugle Corps is a “Mini Corps,” a small music performance ensemble made up of approximately 10-15 Brass musicians along with a few Percussion players. Mini Corps play corps-style musical arrangements focusing on entertainment. Shows are generally 8-12 minutes in length.
- We are an official ensemble of the Connecticut Hurricanes, and are proud to be made up of current and former members of the corps.
- We will be performing at select drum corps shows during the upcoming year and at the DCI All-Age Individual and Ensemble competition in Rochester, NY next August.
- We offer a lighter rehearsal and performance schedule, along with lower membership costs than field corps.
- We are a great option for those who love to perform but are unable to make the time or financial commitment to a competitive field corps. We are also an option for those who are marching but want additional performance opportunities – a member discount is available to those in both groups!
