The Connecticut Hurricanes are excited to welcome back Conor Kovatch as our Color Guard Caption Head and Designer for the 2026 season, his fifth year leading the Hurricanes color guard!
Conor began his color guard journey at Newtown High School and went on to perform with some of the most iconic ensembles in the marching arts, including the Connecticut Hurricanes, Madison Scouts, The Cavaliers, and Alter Ego Winterguard.
Conor has become one of the most in demand clinicians and designers in the activity, known for his creative vision, and passion for pushing performers to new levels. His teaching experience includes The Cadets, The Cavaliers, Blessed Sacrament Winterguard, Emanon Winterguard, Fusion Winterguard, and several top high school programs, including Shenendehowa, Newtown, and Norwalk High School.
